Growing Conditions: 2004 featured a normal bud break following an early April frost.  Summer had more hot days, but pleasant; with harvest several weeks later than normal.   Lower than average yields produce lush, incredibly rich red wines.
Winemaking: After crushing, the must was cold-soaked for 48 hours prior to inoculating with yeast, then pumped over 2 times daily for 14 days.  After pressing and settling, the wines were aged in oak barrels for 23 months.
