| We started
our vineyard operation in 2001 with
the goal of selling to wineries that
require high quality fruit. After realizing
the countless hours we personally tended
to our vines – individual attention
to pruning, fruit thinning, hand harvesting
and balanced canopy management (we keep
our production at 2.5 tons/acre) –
we made the decision to take our grapes
to the bottle so our friends and we
could enjoy the fruits of our labor.
Initial tastings of our 2004 and 2005
harvests prove that we are continuing
to produce high quality red wines.
We are pleased to share with you
our 2003 inaugural bottling of Petite
Sirah and Syrah. Both wines were aged
in oak barrels for 20 months; they
offer up intense aromas and big, lush
flavors that are constantly developing
in the glass. In the fall of 2006,
we will be bottling an exciting blend
in addition to our Petite Sirah and
Syrah from our 2004 harvest.
Estrella Creek is a new, exciting
boutique winery that will continue
to bring you exceptional wines.
